General Tekstil is a member of privately owned group of companies. It was established in  2000 with the primary focus on nonwoven roll goods production. After investigating the nonwovens industry and the completion of feasibility study a contract was signed to purchase the first multi-beam spunlaid nonwovens production line. General Nonwovens is now a successful producer and exporter of thermally bonded polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) spunbond nonwoven fabrics.

General Nonwovens has installed a capacity of 12.000 mtons per annum. Combined with the long term plans, General Nonwovens has enough capacity to became a long term supplier with great quality roll goods.

The company operates in one of the most industrialized cities of Turkey. The 6500 m2 facility is located in the 2nd industrial zone of Gaziantep city.  

General Nonwovens management is a young, dynamic, skilled and well educated team that continues to streamline the organization to meet and align the demands of customers, technologies, products and services globally. General Nonwovens? production and sales activities are carried out with a work force of more than 70 people, 10 of which are talented.

General Nonwovens has a great R&D team and many projects are in the pipeline and being successfully developed. The engineering and marketing teams work in close cooperation on determining the products and services that the company should launch in the future.
